When Is the Lunisolar Sabbath?
Each lunar month begins with the New Moon.
Each Sabbath occurs on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th days of the lunar month.
Understanding Lunisolar Calendation
While our modern calendar depends solely on the sun,
the ancient Hebrew calendar also included moon phases.
Today, many followers of Yeshua keep time the same way ancient Israel kept time — using the lunisolar calendar.
“Then God said,
‘Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years.’”
Genesis 1:14 (NKJV)
